You could contact me and for $99.00, I will install a new Linux operating system on your old PC and it will run like new and it won't be nearly as vulnerable to viruses as your machine was running M$ Windows. You can cancel that anti-virus subscription. That will feel good!
If there is some M$ Windows application that you absolutely must have on your Linux system, there is most likely a way to run it on Linux. CrossOver is most likely your solution.
